Director Abhijit Sen’s film Projapoti 2 has completed 25 successful days in theatres. During the celebration, actor Dev spoke openly about the present condition of the Bengali film industry. With his long experience, he did not hide the fact that the situation in Tollygunge is tough, but he also made it clear that he is not afraid to face the challenges.
There is ongoing controversy about casting Anirban Bhattacharya in the film Deshu 7. When asked about it, Dev said that Anirban should speak for himself on the matter. He did not wish to add anything further. Dev also mentioned that advance booking for Deshu 7 has already started. According to him, people who booked tickets early are not just viewers but his partners.
Dev admitted that he knows letters have been written against him and that he is aware of everything happening. Using a strong metaphor, he said many knives are in front of him, but they belong to people close to him, making the situation clear for him.
