For the twenty minutes the flight seemed normal.. As the aircraft approached the border of Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh the crew faced severe weather.
At 7:34 PM the pilots contacted Air Traffic Control (ATC) in Kolkata. They asked to change their route to avoid a thunderstorm. That was the time anyone heard from them. Seconds later the aircraft disappeared from the radar.
Rescue Challenges in the Deep Jungle

Rescue teams from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and local police had to walk two kilometers through thick vegetation. By the time they arrived there were no survivors. “The impact was devastating ” officials stated. The medical team, the patient’s family and the experienced pilots had all died.
